Window & door
energy performance.
Need the U-Value and SHGC of a window or glazed door, but do not need the product submitted to WERS? SIIGMATIC can analyse the complete product using applicable AFRC / NFRC fenestration procedures and provide a detailed energy-performance report for your nominated system.
The same performance question.
A different reporting pathway.
WERS is an Australian rating scheme administered by AGWA. Products submitted through WERS follow the scheme's simulation, audit and certification process and can be published in the WERS certified product directories.
A SIIGMATIC energy performance report answers the underlying technical question — how the complete window or glazed door performs — without automatically submitting the result to WERS. It can provide whole-product thermal and solar performance data for the nominated frame and glazing configuration, with the reporting status clearly identified.
This can be useful for product development, overseas manufacturers, client-specific reporting, early market assessment or situations where a formal WERS listing is not required.
Choose the output
you actually need.
Both pathways can examine whole-product performance. The important difference is what happens to the result.
Certified scheme rating
- AFRC-based WERS procedures
- Independent scheme audit / certification pathway
- Eligible products can be listed in the WERS certified product directory
- Designed for recognised Australian product rating and comparison
Standalone performance report
- Applicable AFRC / NFRC simulation procedures
- Whole-product U-Value and SHGC analysis
- Client report rather than automatic WERS submission
- Useful for development, comparison, overseas work and project decisions
Glass alone does not
tell you the window.
Whole-window performance brings together the frame, glazing, spacer / edge effects, operating configuration and geometry. The report is therefore about the nominated window or door system, not simply the centre-of-glass value.
A product benchmark is not always
your project result.
Standard rating sizes are essential for consistent product comparison. If you want to understand how a window or glazed door may perform at the actual dimensions in your project, use our Custom Window U-Value service.
